SU 24 L6945 Blue “Crosshill 945” winner of 18th Open Grand Final and it was also
14th in the Semi-Final. He is the second bird for the top loft of John and William
Smart. The nest mate to this was 8th in the Grand Final and 2nd in the Knockout
competition. They are bred through the old pairing of Crosshill Ace and Crosshill
Holly. The partners have had tremendous success with this line, especially when
crossed into other fanciers One Loft Race pigeons and as in this case crossed with a
hen bought from a local fanciers auction when he was finishing in the sport.
