GB 24 B48145 “Stag 145” This was 13th Open Grand Final and also the 12th Ace Pigeon. He was bred by Stuart Culbert of Barrow-In-Furness for the ‘Stag Syndicate’

SIRE

15 D44969 he raced on the road for the former partnership of Culbert & Hambling in the Barrow Homing Society and he was a sensational performer and a winner of 5 straight club firsts and a large number of prize cards. He has won numerous Fed positions despite flying to an unfavourable loft location within the Fed. After he had won these top prizes he was moved to my loft, where I broke him off and raced him and sent him on the channel, despite visiting the old lofts before coming home he still won the club and was 2nd Fed, 2nd Cumbria Combine Falaise 384 miles. The following season after winning a few prizes on land I decided to put him across to Falaise again for the first Channel race and he did not let me down winning 1st Club, 1st Fed and 1st Cumbria Combine and he won the RPRA Region Award. He is a son of a pigeon I called “Fifty” which to date I think is the best pigeon I have ever raced; he won 6 club races and many Fed positions on land but it was on the channel that he shone winning 2nd, 3rd and 7th Cumbria Combine from Channel races over 384 miles. He was also a top breeder and come from the Cees Bosua pigeons we bought as a partnership in 2011.

GB 15 D44689

The mother of the 12th POTP Grand Final was 15 D44689 a late bred hen that had to bide her time to be entered into the stock loft, not because we considered her not good enough but because we had to test her YB first as she hadn’t topped the Furness Fed.
