2019 with Dark Chequer Hen “Lilly Bear” 1st North West Section, 1st Open Midlands
National Flying Club Carentan, 290 miles, 1,947 birds. Many Champion birds have been and
gone, not judging, but one that stands out was his introduction from Syndicate Lofts the
fabulous hen “Mystique”, this hen not only had a racing record second to none, she has also
left behind her a legacy of winners and breeders of many top birds. Her racing record of 7 x
1st with 4,316 b, 3,801 b, 570 b, 318 b, 117 b & 45 b.
In 2014 John joined the team of Jan Hooymans as “Team Hooymans UK”, many races were
won with the Hooyman birds including the two National Winners. John now has come away
from the Hooyman team and has brought in birds of his choice. A small fortune has been
spent acquiring what he thinks will take him to the next level, that is if there is another level
above what he already is!!
John’s donation is something very special, a direct 2026 YB from his super son of “King
Arthur” the fabulous Dirk Van Den Bulck Cock “Excalibur”(SEE PHOTO IN GALLERY) , This is the 1st EVER Child John has offered at public auction from this amazing cock. In 2024 John bred 4 ybs from this cock to race, 3 of them either won or topped the federation. John believe this cock is the future backbone of his loft.
