Dave Roberts – Another pal that has bred a bird specially for this sale. Dave has some
fantastic birds, he does his homework and brings in the best, one of my top hens I got from
Dave. Some good birds have been and gone but always replaced by quality, the top breeding
cocks “Boeing 747” & “Birthday Boy” were two household names that belonged to this top
loft. More recently the Leideman’s and Van Den Bulcks have been brought in with immediate
success. The youngster on offer is a Hen from “Zarka Grizzle 633” G.Son of “El Zarka” sire of

the top racer and breeder the “Goed Grijs” a winner of 7 x 1st, Dam to 1st 5,447, plus her off-
spring won 1st Prov 12,633 birds, 1st Prov 25,734 birds. Her sister bred 1st Prov 5,887 birds &

1st Prov 17,538 birds. “Zarka Grizzle 633” is the sire of 4 x 1st 2 x 2nd 2 x 3rd Clubs, 5th Fed

7th Fed 1,473 birds, 4th Fed 411 birds.
The Dam to Daves YB is “Gonzalez Mum”. This hen is bred from the Hereman/Ceusters
crossed with the Bulcks, the pigeon mentioned “Boeing 747” is three generations back on the
sires side. A golden stock hen for Dave breeding birds to win many fed prizes, she is mother to
“Gonzales Grizzle” the super racing hen, a winner of 4 x 1st 3 x 2nd Fed 4th Fed 5th Fed 7th
