KEVIN & GRACIE PARSONS — HEATON VILLA LOFTS

Kevin & Gracie Parsons of Heaton Villa Lofts, Lemington, offer 29 pigeons from a stock team bringing together established Hofkens and Grondelaers breeding with the Van den Bulck and Leo Heremans families. There is real depth here, from KING KALL and THE FUTURITY COCK to MR FOX, GREIPEL, KITTEL, DE POWER and DE JAN.

The Hofkens side carries Ron Higginson’s HOLLYWOOD breeding, with KING KALL standing behind six generations of winners. A highlight is a direct son of THE FUTURITY COCK, winner of six first Clubs and four first Federations, plus 2nd and 6th Durham Combine. HAPPY RETURN, winner of seven first prizes, also features in this family.

OMERS WHITE WHITTEN brings another proven line. He raced in Belgium before going to stock and became sire of 17th Up North Combine Young Bird National 2017, as well as grandsire of Club, Federation and Section winners. Two daughters are offered here.

The Van den Bulck section centres on MR FOX and LADY GREIPEL. MR FOX is from DE WITTE VOS and INBRED GOEDE RODE, while LADY GREIPEL is a direct daughter of GREIPEL, the full brother to KITTEL. Their family includes 17th Up North Combine Young Bird National 2022. BLUE EMPEROR, a grandson of KITTEL and sire of fifteen first-prize winners, adds further strength.

Leo Heremans enthusiasts will find MARCEL DE POWER, PIPA OLYMPIADE and the DE JAN family, including breeding through PRADA DE JAN and LADY GILBERT-JAN. There are also three youngsters from the GREGS ROCKETS pairing whose first nest produced 1st Club, 7th Federation and 1st Club, 1st Federation against 1,376 birds for Matthew Weatherill.

Many of the birds on offer have been left in an aviary and never bred from. Some of the lines here are impossible to obtain.

A sale with several proven families to choose from and winners close up. Study the individual lots and the matings behind them. All 29 pigeons have their own photograph and pedigree, with opening bids of £100.
