SIRE: GB23V72104, from Syndicate Lofts. He is bred from an inbred “Thomas 6” line crossed with Gaby Vandenabeele “Bliksems Best” blood, bringing together proven One Loft and classic Vandenabeele performance lines.

DAM: GB23B51805, Team Hooymans UK. She is bred from NL22-8559950 “950”, a J. Hooymans pigeon with strong race performances, and NL20-1608532 “Miss Sky Dweller” – 1st National Ace Allround RPRA 2023, with National and North West Classic performances.

This gives Edendale Ace a very attractive mix of proven Hooymans, Vandenabeele and One Loft blood.

RACE RECORD & DESCRIPTION

Edendale Ace is a quality small-to-medium sized pigeon, not too long in the body and very well balanced throughout. A particularly vibrant pigeon in the hand, with plenty of character and vitality. Very tight vented and finished off with a deep, strong yellow eye.

Raced by Ste Radcliffe, Edendale Ace completed the full 2025 Autumn Ace Pigeon Challenge, gaining valuable experience across all six Hotspots.

202nd Ace Pigeon

Edendale Ace then returned for the 2026 Autumn Ace Pigeon Challenge and produced a fantastic campaign. The consistency throughout the series was excellent, but the standout performance came as the distance increased, taking a brilliant 2nd from Alençon at 246 miles. This was followed by another strong 20th from Nort-sur-Erdre at 248 miles, helping secure an outstanding 10th Ace Pigeon overall in 2026.

10th Ace Pigeon

What a progression from 202nd Ace in 2025 to an outstanding 10th Ace in 2026, topped off by that superb 2nd at 246 miles. The 2026 campaign really shows the quality and ability of this pigeon, particularly when faced with the longer French stages.

A cracking, nicely put-together pigeon – compact, beautifully balanced, extremely tight vented and full of vibrancy in the hand, with a deep yellow eye and now an excellent race record to match.
