How to participate in auctions
Step 1, registering an account
To participate in auctions, you need to make an account. You can make an account by going to the register and login page and fill in all the required fields. Afterwards a confirmation link will be sent to your email address. Please follow the instructions in the email to activate your account.

Step 2, participating in auctions
When you’ve activated your account, you are able to participate in active auctions. When you’re bidding there are two ways to place your bid: a regular bid and an autobid. A regular bid is a one-time bid you place at that moment for the amount you’ve entered and an autobid is a bid that automatically gets placed when you’ve been outbid. Important! all bids placed are placed in £ (GBP).

The bid that’s entered in the picture is £1600. If you would press the ‘Place bid’ button, you would bid £1600. If you would press the ‘Autobid’ button the box next to it would become checked. If you were to press the ‘Place bid’ button when the box is checked, you have enabled the autobid function with a set limit of £1600. The bid you would place depends on the bid increment that is set. For example, if the increment is £50 and the current bid is £500, your bid would be £550. When your set limit is reached, the autobid function automatically stops bidding for you.
Step 3, Complete your transaction
When the auction has ended and you’ve placed the winning bid, you’ll need to complete your order by making the required payment. The pigeon will automatically be placed in your shopping cart, which you can find at the top right of the screen.

When pressing your shopping cart, you can see a list of all the auctions you’ve won and still require payment. At the bottom of the page you’ll find a section ‘Cart totals’ where you can see what the costs of your won auctions combined are.

When you press the ‘Proceed to checkout’ button, you are forwarded to a page with payment options. Choose one to complete your payment or if the given options are not suitable for you, please select the ‘Direct payment’ option to suggest a payment method and contact the seller.
Step 4, Wait for your pigeon to arrive
Once you have completed your payment and contacted the seller about the shipping/fetching of the pigeon, the transaction is officially completed.
